About Me

My name is Jennifer and the most important thing that you should know about me is that absolutely enjoy and love reading books. My aim is not only to read all the New York Times Bestsellers, but rater find the books that are treasures, at least to me. The thing I value most in a book is one whose main message I never forget and carry around with me on a dail basis.

Other than that I was born and raised in the U.S.A. My parents are Polish so I also speak the language. I am currently living and studying in Berlin, a city I consider the best place to be a student.

The books that I choose to write about have a special place in my heart and have either made me laugh, cry, or most importantly have taught me lessons that I have truly carried into my everyday life. Each week there will be a certain message that I wish to convey with the book or story that I have chosen. Some books may be known to many, while others are so special they are no longer printed in several nations.

My greatest hope is for the reader to maybe fall in love with one of the books that I mention, making their life just a little bit better. Sometimes we should all get carried away and find something we never want to let go of…

  1. very good “about” page. who you are, why you write this and why we might like to listen to you comes across very clearly. well done, jennifer.

you might, with your predilections towards reading, enjoy a site i really like: http://fictionaut.com – a new site for writers and adventurous readers, fresh, mostly short fiction, but great quality, and a possible hangout for people like you who like to review, reflect and comment.

  2. ps. even in the title, think about whether “books I can’t let go of” isnt better for a personal blog. you are not the NY Times Book Review ;-)

  3. I wos looking something other but I found your blog. I must tell you that you write very interesting abaut books. For me books have a special place in my heart . I would like advive you read books Stieg Larson or Erica Schmitta. :)
